It takes longer to preheat the oven than it does to put together Homestyle Chicken & Biscuits!  The condensed cream of chicken soup turns into a creamy gravy that transforms chicken and veggies into a fantastic one-dish meal.  There's literally nothing to prep in this recipe- just combine a few on-hand ingredients and top with refrigerated biscuit dough.  Homestyle Chicken & Biscuits is like a cross between chicken pot pie and chicken and dumplings, and will be just as popular at your dinner table!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup or 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 16 ounces frozen California vegetable blend (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots), thawed
  • 1 can (12.5 ounces) Swanson® Premium White Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained
  • 1 package (12 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough (10 biscuits)

  • Tips

    • Customize it!  This recipe is very flexible.  You can use any thawed frozen vegetables or variety of shredded cheese you like.  You can also use larger biscuits, but you may want to cut them in half for quicker baking.
  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 400°F.  While the oven is heating, stir the soup, milk and cheese in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Add the vegetables and chicken and stir to coat.  Season the chicken mixture with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

    Bake for 15 minutes or until hot. Stir the chicken mixture.  Top the chicken mixture with the biscuits.

  • Step 3

    Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and done.
